Pop star Madonna will perform two songs at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, which will take place in Israel in May.
Concert promoters Live Nation Israel, which first announced the news, said in a Facebook post that the May 18 performance would be “historic and hysterical,” featuring a classic track and a new song from the star. Madonna’s press team also confirmed the icon’s appearance. However, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which organizes the 40-nation music event, said the singer’s participation in Eurovision was still not confirmed.
