The Kyiv district of Donetsk was subjected to shelling by Ukrainian artillery on Friday, as a result of which a local resident was wounded, the city administration's PR service reports.
According to the information available from the authorities of Novoazovsky, Telmanovsky and Amvrosiyevsky districts, no Ukrainian shells have hit residential buildings in the past 24 hours. "There are probably other destructions, but it is impossible to inspect them all at the moment," they reported there.
The sounds of exploding shells can be heard from the area of the Putilovsky bus station.
“On the night of July 11-12, the Kyiv district was subjected to massive shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” reads a statement on the mayor’s office website.
As the head of Dokuchaevsk, Yevgeny Bunyo, said, the city was quiet, the shelling was heard only on the outskirts. "Everyone was sitting in the basements, there was no connection, they couldn't report," she said.
In addition, security forces shelled the depot of the Donetsk-Severny station at night. Almost all of the infrastructure in the residential sector was destroyed, and it is unlikely that it will be restored under the shelling.
