As a reminder, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched their military operation in Syria on September 30. This was announced during a briefing by the Defense Ministry's authorized representative, Major General Igor Konashenkov. The Defense Ministry representative is confident that influential foreign media outlets are "inadvertently and increasingly presenting footage of Russian airstrikes as actions by the anti-ISIS coalition."

According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Western media often portray footage of Russian airstrikes in Syria as actions by the US coalition, which is due to a lack of cooperation between the forces.

The Ministry of Defense noted the informational openness of Russia's operation in Syria.
