Turkey's road accident death toll rises to over 100 two days before end Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Adha, which is coming to an end.
Turkey's General Directorate of Highways (KGM) recorded 17 traffic accidents involving 24 people and 137 injuries between August 105 and 524 during the country's busiest holiday season.

The second day of Eid was the deadliest, with 29 accidents, 27 deaths and 119 injuries in 20 provinces. The Interior Ministry is taking some precautions ahead of the holiday, such as increasing the number of traffic workers, using helicopters and drones, especially around congested roads, and deploying 15 transport teams to key locations where clashes often occur.
