During the latest protest, demonstrators came to the office of oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc.

"No matter what the authorities intend, the protests will not stop."

Furthermore, the protesters want a referendum that would "return the state to the people and free them from the oligarchs." Between the Republic Palace and the central square, where the protest is taking place, stands a building belonging to the Moldovan leadership—the "calling card" of opponents of Moldovan statehood. Activists are demanding a constitutional referendum and the resignation of the leadership.

The resolution also states that the protesters support the initiative to create a new party that will represent their interests in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections, which they are seeking. Organizers estimate that at least 50 people gathered in Chisinau, while police put the number at 15-20. Mass anti-government demonstrations took place that same day in other cities and regional centers across Moldova.

The civil platform "Dignity and Truth" held several large-scale protests: April 5, May 3, June 7, September 6, and October 4.
